Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks is seeking compassionate, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Springdale, Arkansas. Position Summary
As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide direct nursing care to adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting, support patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to promote positive clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, calm under pressure, and passionate about caring for patients experiencing mental health challenges.
What You’ll Do
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a behavioral health setting
Complete nursing assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
Monitor patient condition, response to treatment, and overall progress
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Document patient care, observations, and progress accurately and timely
Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, MHTs, and other team members
Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
Build professional, respectful relationships with patients, families, and coworkers
Support patient rights, dignity, and recovery-focused care
Qualifications
Required
Active Arkansas RN license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or pediatric nursing
Inpatient psychiatric experience
Schedule
12-hour day shifts
10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Weekend rotation required
