Role Overview
As a Maintenance Technician at Perimeter Behavioral Health, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a
safe, functional, and therapeutic environment for our patients and staff. This position combines technical
expertise with a commitment to safety and quality in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance
 Perform general repairs and maintenance including:
o Sheetrock repair and painting
o Light fixture maintenance and bulb replacement
o Ceiling tile maintenance
o Carpet cleaning and floor care
o Playground equipment safety checks
 Complete preventive maintenance tasks
 Respond to maintenance requests promptly

Systems Management
 Conduct and document regular HVAC system audits
 Perform routine electrical system inspections
 Maintain accurate maintenance logs and audit reports
 Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
 Monitor building systems for optimal performance

Grounds Management
 Maintain safety of exterior areas including:
o Parking lot maintenance
o Snow and ice removal
o Lawn care and landscaping
o Playground equipment inspection
 Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely

Safety & Compliance
 Follow all facility safety protocols
 Maintain clean and organized work areas
 Ensure proper storage of tools and equipment
 Report safety concerns promptly
 Maintain compliance with healthcare facility standards

Required Qualifications
 High school diploma or GED
 Minimum 1 year commercial building maintenance experience
 Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
 Physical ability to lift 60 pounds
 Must be at least 21 years old
 Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
 Valid driver's license
 HVAC certification
 Experience in healthcare facility maintenance
 Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
 Background in commercial electrical systems

Technical Skills
 Proficiency in general repairs
 Understanding of HVAC systems
 Basic electrical troubleshooting
 Carpentry and painting skills
 Equipment maintenance expertise


Competitive Package
 Starting salary: $15/hr
