Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Mental Health Technician at Perimeter Behavioral Health. In this role, you'll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals with diverse communication styles, sensory needs, and support needs.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to patients in a respectful, person-centered way
Help maintain a calm, safe, and therapeutic unit environment
Observe, document, and communicate changes in behavior or well-being
Support daily routines, activities of daily living, and unit programming
Use de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches as needed
Collaborate with nurses, clinicians, and the treatment team

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be 21 years of age
1+ years of experience in a healthcare, behavioral, or social services setting preferred
Education or work experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work a plus
Ability to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, overnight and weekend shifts
Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with patient interventions
