Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks has immediate openings for Night Shift Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RNs). We are seeking compassionate, attentive professionals dedicated to improving the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges—especially during the most critical overnight hours.
As a premier behavioral health hospital, we provide inpatient treatment for adolescents using a patient-centered, collaborative approach. Our mission is to create a responsive, healing environment that inspires hope and promotes overall well-being through high-quality, integrated care—24 hours a day.
Role Overview
Join a dedicated nursing team making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents. As a Night Shift Behavioral Health RN, you will provide calm, consistent, and vigilant care while ensuring patient safety and stability overnight. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a behavioral health setting during overnight hours
- Conduct assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
- Monitor patient safety, behaviors, and overnight stability
- Administer medications and document care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with the treatment team to support individualized care plans
Leadership & Environment
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment overnight
- Protect patient rights and ensure a calm, supportive setting
- Build professional relationships with patients and team members
- Communicate effectively with day shift and interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care
- Support team members and advocate for patient needs
Qualifications
Required
- Active Arkansas RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong critical thinking, observation, and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred
- Experience in behavioral health and/or pediatric nursing
- Inpatient psychiatric experience
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend rotation required
