Part-Time Housekeeper – Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks
Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks has immediate openings for a Part-Time Housekeeper. We are seeking dependable individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment that supports the healing and well-being of our patients.
As part of Perimeter Healthcare, we are a leading behavioral health provider delivering inpatient adolescent treatment through a patient-centered, collaborative approach. Our mission is to provide high-quality care that addresses both the mental and physical well-being of those we serve.
Position Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility, including public and patient areas, while supporting a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, hallways, lobbies, entryways, restrooms, and resident areas
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
- Collect and dispose of trash, including hazardous and oversized waste per guidelines
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs using the appropriate request process
- Conduct monthly inventory of cleaning and paper supplies and report restocking needs
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in good working condition and stored securely
- Assist with preparation for special events, tours, and inspections
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or residential setting preferred
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
Certifications
- Valid state driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with varying conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals and moderate noise levels
Work Environment
This role is based in a residential behavioral health or day treatment setting. The environment may include interaction with adolescent patients and exposure to a dynamic clinical setting.
