The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist's responsibilities include the following: 
Enter charges from charge tickets
  • Posting adjustments
  • Pulling remittances
  • Printing reviewing and mailing self-pay patient statements
  • Documenting accounts
  • Assist Billers with keying claims into providers billing systems  
  • Communicating with team members, facility staff, leadership, payor sources, and responsible parties if the need arises. 
  • Other tasks as they arise and are assigned. 
Qualified candidates must have the following:
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Must have at least 2 years Medical Revenue Experience preferably in Behavioral Health 
  • Has some working remote experience 
  • Pays attention to detail 
  • Highly proficient in reading and explaining Explanation of Benefits (EOB) 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with accessing claims status via payor portals a plus 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
